Are your personal values in line with your way of success?
Have a clear understanding of your personal values is critical to your success. Without this knowledge, you will not know what really matters to you, what motivates you and why you do what you do. You will be in conflict with what you really want and your life will be unfulfilling and stressful.
If you want to succeed, you must ensure that your personal values and your life goals are aligned. If you are not struggling to find motivation and maintain the enthusiasm and energy that you need to travel the road to success!
You can also use your personal values to evaluate your actions or other peoples actions, once they have occurred. When you use values in this way they can have a profound effect on your feelings. For example, if you do something that is in direct conflict with your basic personal values that will leave you feeling bad about yourself.
DEFINE VALUES personal for me?
Personal values are the things that are more important to you, these things that must be met before you can lead a happy and fulfilled life. Your values are also the things that motivate you. Where you live consistent with your personal values you find life fulfilling and satisfying.
The values are not set in stone, they generally do not change quickly, as beliefs can, but if you think back on your life, you will be able to follow the development of personal values.
Think your children – are exactly the same things that are important to you as a child as important to you today as an adult? How it 5 years ago, 10 years ago?
When you were a child your values probably came from parents or other significant adults. Later, you gathered the values your peers, your social environment, and other influences you have allowed your life. As an adult the development of personal values continues to you. However, if you have values that do not serve you well, it is possible to change!
How the list PERSONAL VALUES
Your Personal values can be in different areas: your values in life, work, family …
The best place to start a list of personal values for you is to watch your values in life, you can search other, more specific areas later. Examples of values of life are things like: honesty, integrity, family, freedom …
You've already seen that the definition of personal core values is simple – but the discovery your personal values is much more difficult.
It is so easy to confuse values with other things like beliefs. It is also very common you, should something of value as a result of pressure from your parents and friends when in fact it is simply not worth it for you.
The key is to remember that you define personal values as things that are important to you …
So just sit quietly with a piece of paper and repeatedly ask the question:
"What is really important about life for me?"
Just keep asking and answering as honestly as you can – do not answer that you think you should. Write your answers.
Once you've written your answers, you can try a second year:
Think about a time you were really motivated to do something, something – to a trip somewhere, propose to your spouse, help someone who was in difficulty, climb a mountain …
Think about that time, imagine where you were and you felt you became motivated until you can experience the feeling you had when you were motivated – perhaps it was the desire to discover something new, love for your future spouse …
This emotion original is almost certainly one of your key values … Write!
Go through these two exercises a few times until you wrote the values 10-20. Then, watch them carefully. Is this really your personal values, do they represent the real you?
Now, compare them with each other, asking "Is this a more valuable for me than this value." In doing this, you will be able to organize them in order of importance.
Do your personal values align with your success?
Now you know both what is really important to you in life and where are your priorities! That puts you ahead of all those who have never taken the time to do this exercise 
Finally, ask yourself:
"Am I living my life according to my values and priorities?
If you answer "no", you need to work on what you do to ensure that you are living congruently?
