Is My Jade bracelet worth much?

i have a jade bangle (which is now permanently on my wrist). it is quite old as my great gran gave it to me and it was hers before… it is about 23.5 cm in circumference and is about 1cm thick. is it worth much? (dont worry, i dont plan on selling it!!! it’s very pretty) and would it be better to keep it safe somewere rather than wearing it everyday?? any info on Jade would be helpful…
