A theme park with ethics Atmosphere
The Chinese mythological theme park in Singapore, seen along Pasir Panjang Road, "Haw For Villa, which was originally called Tiger Balm Gardens, was built in 1937 by brothers company "Aw Boon Haw "and" Aw Boon Par "as a private center for teaching traditional Chinese values. In 1979, the gardens were sold to the Office Singapore Tourism by the Aw family. The name "Haw Par Villa" gives the meaning of the "Villa of the Tiger and Leopard" in English.
This park theme offers a fascinating view of more than 1,000 statues and 150 giant paintings illustrating Chinese legends, history and the Confucian ideology. Some major creations that shows aspects such as culture can be cited as the laughing Buddha statues, the Goddess of Mercy, the romance of the three kingdoms, and celebrates the courts of Hell, which is a representation of an underground world of horrific torture and torment put into the mouth of a Dragon 60m. So his classic tales include legal battle between good and evil, and tributes to heroes of the Chinese culture such as the famous warrior "Wu Song who tamed a fierce tiger with his bare hands.
In 1985, the park was closed to the public and reopened in 1990 with its current name Haw Par Villa with been converted into an amusement park and then he was promoted from the well-known name "Dragon World". A new attraction has been added to the amusement park is car that Tiger is a classic car dressed to look like a tiger, which is a duplication of the car that Tiger fire Mr Aw Boon Haw had owned. Also another addition the park is "The House of Jade" which displays a large collection of jades that Aw family had collected over the years.
