Are there any talent can help me find an English name?
I am a Chinese girl in my twenties and my Chinese name is Chen Yixi. I want to find an English name which has the similar pronuncination with my Chinese name. Meanwhile, I suppose the name is less common, elegant, positive as well as lovely. Thanks for your help! I’m looking forward to your good suggestions!!!
Everyone is translating your family name… Not that “Jen” would be a bad name, but it doesn’t give you anything for “Yixi”.
It’s difficult to think of something that sounds similar to your name, but I’m thinking you could try “Isabelle”, which is a lovely name. You could also have people nickname you “Izz” for short, which would sort of sound close to “Yixi”.

I know what you mean, Eris. Yixi is a wonderful name, and there SHOULD be no reason to adopt an English/Western name, but the reality is that most English-speaking people would be unable to pronounce Chen Yixi correctly, let alone learn its appropriate tones…So, to save Chinese people from having to educate everyone they meet into pronouncing their real name correctly, they adopt an English name, not just to make it easier for everyone else, but themselves as well.
