Jade Goody is mixed race and the media calls her ulgy, is this racism?
The media seems to focus a lot on Jade’s appearance. She is often referred to as a “pig”, “big lipped”, “ugly”, “Jabba the Hut” and other horrible things. Why is this? Is it racism? Why are her features being insulted? As opposed to her actions? why is it that Danielle and JO are not insulted in the same manner for their looks? Are Halle Berry, Nicole Richie or Jessica Alba “pigs”, or “ugly”? They are all mixed race/half black also.
African women are degraded no matter how they look it seems.
it seems we are a racist nation when it comes to colour of skin.
but you can tell jokes about blondes, irish etc etc, call jade fat etc etc and this is not deemed racist.
Think we too obsessed with the black and white thing that hurtful and in my opinion racist comments such as these are ignored.
Still jade is ugly and fat and she IS a racist!
