The World's Best Art Consultancy

The World's Best Art Consultancy
Art-exchange.com unveils Release III of its art tool for designers

The Art Consultancy future
The location and implementation of a design project is probably the most difficult part of the project. While some designers take on this task themselves, many enlist the assistance of an art consultant. A limitation of this approach the consultant is limited universe of artists. Most art consultants end up with a few "go-to" favorites.

Imagine a consulting firm Art can go directly to 10,000 artists, with capacities of technology concentration range of art in a portfolio for email or high-resolution printing for presentations. Add the ability to correspond with clients via e-postcard including selected images. And finish with the ability to access framing options online thus allowing the designer to actually show the customer how the pieces will look framed.

Does it work?
Can a website help you find art? Art-Exchange (www.art-exchange.com) is not a new website and not a new service, and not a new company. It is, however, take a new approach to providing designers with art. And he has a new site design that Art-Exchange claims to make the service more efficient and easy to use.
I spoke with Richard Gipe, President and CEO Art-Exchange to find out why he thinks the service his company is so special. I asked him: "If you had to communicate Art-Exchange value designers in one sentence, what would you say? "
Here's what he said: "If you want to access as much art as we have on Art-Exchange you have to go to 20,000 galleries, and you would have to deal with many different sellers that the logistics would be overwhelming. "It seems pretty good. But the site?

Art-Exchange
Art-Exchange is a service company that specializes in solutions for trade design. They can offer solutions to designers as an art consultant, or they may provide solutions to art consultants to help them be more effective and efficient.
Over the past five years Art-Exchange has been actively contacting artists to list their works on the exchange. Today, there are about 100,000 works of art created by over 10,000 different artists. Imagine the search 100,000 records to locate the solution perfect art. Nearly 60% of all the works are originals, and the remaining 40% is a variety of editions. All these works are organized in a database data, and a reference search engine works by using some or all of the following criteria:

• Artist name
• Title
• Material
• Style
• Medium
• Size
• Colors
• Price
• Orientation

Suppose you need oversized original works and the price is a problem. Maybe you want only works with lighthouses. Or perhaps you require large public works. That is how the search engine can be specific. And with the new design, if you enter multiple criteria and the search Can not find a job that matches all your criteria exactly, it leads to works that meet your criteria more closely, so you do it again. As one of the designers of the new website said: "We never want to show anything to anyone."
Normally, designers hire an art consultant or visit multiple galleries or view the books seem to find the perfect art. It is the old how to find art. Now, designers can look in one place and view tens of thousands of copies only. This is the new how to find art. Art's exchange research for all designers of art they need in one place. That alone has the potential to save time, But the site has a few other very powerful features that give designers more flexibility and power.

Features Powerful
A very important feature is the Portal Designer. Art-Exchange has four different portals that members can use to enter the site. There is a detail for customers, one partner community, and another for artists and other vendors. But Portal Designer is available only to designers. Once you enter the portal, you can search for art that you want, view images of art, and immediately see designers Wholesale pricing.
Here is another great innovation: wallets. How can you keep track of work that meet the needs of your customers? You keep portfolio. Designers can define portfolios for individual clients, different places, or just for future reference. It is easy making works customized portfolios. And it is easy to show portfolio to clients-from anywhere in the world.
Another feature terrible is the Exhibits section. Exhibitions include the work of nearly 200 artists and are compiled topically. Before exhibitions, which are still available, including realism, landscape, watercolor, and impressionism. To get new ideas readily accessible to customers, designers need to be magazine art all the time, and these exposures can help you. It only takes fifteen minutes to see a show.
Another feature that can help designers and customers work together, especially when customers have trouble describing their interests, is the function of a postcard. Customers can visit website to find themselves. They can see an exhibition, browse by artist, or do a search. When they find something they like, they can send images to their designer using electronic postcards.
Soon, Art Exchange will even offer the possibility to create custom frames online so that customers can see the pictures in different settings and choose the one they prefer.

Full-Service Art Consultancy
Art-Exchange goes well beyond the website, however. They also provide advice to art full service. They have a team full of art qualified consultants who can do as much or as little as a designer wants them. All art is typical board, Art Exchange will do. If a designer works with a consultant art already and wishes to maintain this relationship, Art Exchange will even work with their advisor in contemporary art.

How to access the features and benefits Art-Exchange
Go to www.art-exchange.com and see the portal designer. Log on as a designer and learn more about how the service work. You can easily search for art, access to their boards of art, full service, or guide your favorite art consultant to Art-Exchange. A subscription is free. Art-exchange is paid by sellers in transactions, so that they are paid whether they help designers to find art right for the right job at the right price.
When asked what he would most want to communicate to designers about the company and the service it provides, Gipe said, "I want the members of ASID that puts art to try counseling from art to art-Exchange, and if they're going give 10% of their trust, we will win the remaining 90%. "If you're a designer or an art consultant, it is worth trying. Is it effective? Is really any way to find new art? Yeah, that's what it is. And for designers, the world of art will never be the same.

What art is most popular among consumers?

Ok, so I decided to sell some works of art (paintings and drawings) on a site called Etsy. I need extra money and I sell a few pieces. So if I wanted something for sale, this would be the most popular thing that people buy? Like, what pieces of art people like to buy? Would it be drawings of dogs, or paintings of characters? All help is very appreciated:) Thanks again!

People like pets to you – and if you can learn drawing from photos, which can work for you. And horses, birds, animals of all kinds, headlights, etc., can be quite popular. But the world has different ideas of what they like doing so, one thing is not the way forward. You need to do some research on Etsy itself, watching your likely competition. See who is selling art and what is being sold by looking at their "Sales" ("Other topics" on the right side their shops). Etsy is a great site. I sell myself. But you must understand that sales are not guaranteed. Many people on the site go weeks between sales. I often myself. Some never sell at all or only very, very rarely. And we must work to sell, like any other place. You might need to blog, tweet, facebook, and use the forums for Etsy you get out there – and it takes time and effort. So here's what you should ask yourself. Do you need money now? Then, when it is an excellent site, Etsy can not be the place to go, because it is not one thing is certain. But if you love to draw, want to attract – and do not hesitate to make a little money from him along the way, perhaps – it is then definitely a place to go for it. That's what I do. I weave baskets in miniature because I like to do – and I sell on Etsy, when they sell and gladly accept the money. But I certainly do not count on Sale for paying the bills!
