Help with Chinatown in New York Assignment?
I am doing a research project on Chinatown in New York city
My rough-draft thesis is as follows: The Chinatown(Manhatten, New York City) of today was formed by the decades of handwork of Chinese immigrants who braved racism, hostility, and the uncertainties and hardships of a new life far away from the MotherLand, while still remaining true to their traditional culture and familial values.
My rough-draft outline is as follows:
Intro > Body 1: The Early Chinatown > Body 2: Chinatown during WWII > Body 3: Modern day Chinatown > Conclusion
Can anyone point me towards some very good sources, or help me out by sending me articles and pdf files that you own, your help would be greatly appreciated.
