How soon do baby bearded dragons normally eat?

My new-born bearded dragons (born about 1 and 2 days ago-there are 2 and they were born on 2 different days.) won’t eat the lettuce (Romaine) that I tried to give them, nor the chopped up mealworms, nor the pin-head crickets that I just gave them.

When do they normally eat after hatching, and is there any trick that I might need to do perform to make sure they do eat?

Second, don’t feed your baby lettuce or mealworms. Lettuce should never be fed to dragons of any age because it’s void of nutrition (basically just water) and certain kinds (like iceburg and romaine) can cause diarrhea in dragons. Mealworms shouldn’t be fed to dragons under a year old because they’re high in fat which can cause liver disease if fed longterm, and the hard chitin (exoskeleton) increases the risk of impaction (constipation). Mealworms are best when used as an occasional treat for dragons over a year old, while crickets make a good daily feeder.
Also, avoid overfeeding carrots, and never give your dragon kale, oranges, fireflies, avocado or asparagus.

Check your temperatures to make sure these babies appetites are being stimulated. If they’re absolutely brand-new, also consider that your crickets may be too big. A common feeder for newborns are gnats or fruit flies, and there are certain kinds of fruit fly that have been bred to be wingless for the purpose of easy feeding.
