How early is too early to look for an apartment?
I’m moving out in about 6-7 weeks (possibly longer, but definitely not by much). I live in southwest Virginia and I’m not going far, to a town about 25 minutes away to be exact. How early is too early to look for an apartment? I know it’s different in larger areas, but there’s not near as much choice here. Any answers or even tips for me?
If you want to commit to a unit sight unseen you are not too early. But if you want to inspect it you need to look about 2 weeks before move out.
Not many landlords can afford to hold a unit for 6-7 weeks for you, that is a lot of unpaid rent.
