Gold Phenix

What Should I Get ? (yugioh)

I Have choice to get one of the folowing booster Boxes:

Aster Phenix
Guerenteed ultra rare so i either get a malicious or d-draw both worth more than the box itself.150 cards total

Strike of Neos
I could get a Grand mole, pulling the rug, D.D. crow. Gurenteed secret so i get a grand master or a counter fairy key card.216 cards total.

Phantom Darkness
I could get an allure of darkness, prime material Dragon or one of the guerenteed secrets. Most expensive.216 cards total.

Light of Destruction
Lightsworns, guerenteed secret, arcane force.216 cards total.

Gold Series
Posible crush card and well woorth it.125 cards total.

Based on the odds of getting good cards I’d say go for the Aster Phoenix box. You can actually buy 2 boxes for the price of one Gold box, Phantom box, or LOD box. Plus you are guaranteed at least 2 Ultra rares in either D-Draw or Malicious. If you get 2 D-Draw, I’d say it was well worth it. Even if you are not so lucky and get 2 Malicious, it still works out pretty well.

The other boxes are nowhere near guaranteed for Secret Rares anyway. I bought an entire case (12 boxes) of Phantom Darkness and only got 10 Secret Rares, none of which were Dark Armed Dragon or Darklord Zerato, the 2 cards I bought the case for in the first place.

Strike of Neos just isn’t worth it.

The same thing I said for Phantom Darkness, I’ll say for Light of Destruction. I haven’t bought a box of this set yet, but the odds of getting something good are not in your favor.

What do I say about the Gold series? The odds suck, unless of course, you are feeling really lucky. I had to buy 5 boxes before I pulled my first Crush Card. If you are good at math, that is more than $500, when Crush Card only cost $300.
