Lhasa Travel Information for your holiday in China – Lhasa Railway Station

Lhasa railway station is located in the south-west of Lhasa. It is 20 kilometers away from the Potala Palace and its altitude is 3600 meters. Now the road from the station of Lhasa in Lhasa is much better than it used to be.
There is 100,000 square shape square meters in the north of Lhasa railway station. Lhasa railway station is built near a mountain and decorated in traditional style Tibetan (especially with 3 colors: white, red and yellow). It occupies 23,600 square meters and 22.9 meters high.
Entering the station of Lhasa, you find in an ancient palace in Tibet. The room is decorated mainly in red. Eight pillars are a unique feature of this room. They are in style Traditional Tibetan and is resistant to fire due to a chemical disposal specail. In the south-east of the hall, there are three waiting rooms VIP waiting room of a soft seat. The booking office is west of the hall. You can buy tickets for train, plane and bus there. There are 10 windows service in the booking office. On the second floor of the Lhasa Railway Station, you can find a small shopping center (fast food, cafes, small shops, etc..) Regular rooms waiting in South second floor. It occupies 1760 square meters. (800 square meters for the soft seat waiting room and 700 square meters for the waiting room VIP)
There is also a small clinic in Lhasa railway station. He is responsible for providing basic medical care to travelers. (Mal altitude, etc.)
Lhasa railway station has 6 platforms. 2 of them are platforms backup. 10 trains can enter the station synchronously. Capacity Total station in Lhasa is 2700 passengers per day.
