Most of what we know about this city of porcelain "comes from the letters of Entrecolles father, a French Jesuit missionary who traveled to China in the late 17th century. He detailed what he saw in a long series of letters written between 1712-1722.
He describes in detail the vast factory and kilns in Jingdezhen.
It tells us how the "ovens roaring at night and how the city was illuminated by the flames of many furnaces.
This enormous Imperial production was ultimately supervised by the Emperor, Yongzhen, who ruled from the Dragon throne from 1723 until his death in 1735.
The emperor Yongzhen was the first true art-lover among the Qing dynasty Manchu rulers along. He cared passionately and lived with works art.
The Emperor knew many of its craftsmen by name and it is well known that he rewarded his creations considered outstanding.
The reign Yongzhen is attributed to the development of a wide range of pastel colors (Or enamels, referring to ceramics). It is this delicate color palette that adorn our subject.
This style of lamp has, of course, a rather impressive list of benefits: –
1. A functional table lamp.
2. A work of art old, complete with its original drum-shaped canopy low, even 270 years later!
3. An asset that will continue to add its value.
4. A constant visual delight.
5. Table lamps are not intended to illuminate a room by overhead lighting, but selectively positioned to provide a skylight accentuating softer and complimenting the decor and "feel" of a room.

Did you watched Kongfu Panda II ?
Kongfu Panda II 3D
Splendid antique buildings and ships, warm little restaurants and dining-tables, and the details of furniture and clothing, all are so beautiful, fantastic, earnest and delicate, so oriental, so Chinese ! Thank you, americans, China is perfect in your movie !
Whereas, the temperament, countenance and tongue of the leading role A Bao ( a panda ) are vey very occidental, just like Indiana Jones, James Bond, etc : popular, handsome, honest, dignified in the presence of enemies while absurdity is his usual style, pretending cowardice but fearless, not powerful but always having ultimate victory.
A pity is that the scenes which have stong 3D effect are rare, fox exemple an arrow shot towards your eyes, a fat big throwed towards you.
yes I saw it and it was pretty dank, maybe even more so than the first one
