Antique lamps – fire in Berlin, Pure Classic
The Berlin porcelain factory opened its doors in 1751 and after a series of unfortunate bad decisions management over 12 years was finally purchased in 1763 by Frederick the Great, King of Prussia.
All European art, architecture, paint, furniture, clothing and design, including silver and porcelain, which became one of the most elegant and periods of design ever seen. The style swept across Europe with its influence to London to St. Petersburg, including the United States of America.
In 1830, Prussia was governed by Friedrich Wilhelm III and the styles have changed. This period saw the last days of Sharp, the style of early 19th century neo-classical. Born in the year 1765, this time very intelligent design has been spread over a timeline of about 65 years. At this time closure, however, the Berlin Porcelain Manufactory Royal, has continued to produce these elegant neo-classical models.
This style has never been exceeded, characterized by its sobriety and simplicity, moderation and purity of form. It should be remembered when we talk changes in design and style in terms of time, ie, the neoclassical period 1765 – 1830, we do not refer to a specific date, these styles simply evolved into new lines of design.
