Is this a proper traditional gifts for a Chinese American girl?
I am a Chinese girl who goes to study in the U.S. and now decide to buy a present for my future dorm, a beautiful young American girl who has her 18th birthday at the end of this month:) I thought some traditional gifts such as Chinese, the crux of perfume, a fan of wood or matte clay statues of Beijing opera. Yet they are all ornaments, useless. (It will be in September, the fan could get away) and appearance are all in general in the U.S. sale in any city in China, nothing special. So it is difficult for me to choose a place, and special gift for her sense since I know little Don about American traditions, worrying indeliberately error. Any suggestions on this? (With reference receiveing experience is better:) If you, the Chinese would be happy to receive gifts? And I do whatelse opinion about a birthday? Appericate for any help, thank you: D
I am sure she will be happy to receive any Chinese deal (after all, its the thought that counts). She will probably think its cute the beautiful, and seeing as you share some of your culture with them. There is no reason why you should feel obliged to give him a gift american … give him something meainingful. I 'll bet she likes:)
