My brother bought a house built in the 1920s. On the first floor, walls, windows on each side, rounded protuberances, about 6 inches in diameter. They are spherical, and makes it look like a breast, as the center of each of them has a smaller, rounded protuberance. We believe they may have to do with components, but we can not understand! They were painted on, but feel as if they were metal. Help!
