A must in Central Asia

History and ancient culture of Central Asia make this region of the continent quite a destination Exciting journey. A memorable bit of Central Asia's history, including the trade route called the Silk Road. It connected Asia Europe and the Mediterranean, and Africa. Silk and other luxuries of China and India moved along the network en route to Mediterranean Sea.

Bukhara is a popular destination for Central Asia Travel. Located on the Silk Road, Bukhara is the fifth largest city of Uzbekistan, and one of the oldest cities of Central Asia. There is much to see and do here, with many attractions built the Middle Ages. Seeing the Dome of commerce, built in the 16th century. Trade was very popular in Bukhara during this time, and the dynasty built Sheibanids these domes. Each was named for the type of goods that was sold under his roof.

The Kalyan Minaret should also be on your list places to visit. This structure was built in 1127, and many think of it as the symbol of the city. The Ark Citadel is not only a fortress. It was the residence of the rulers of Bukhara. Registan Square was the center of the city, and is resplendent with the Islamic decorative art form.

You should also see the mausoleum of Tamerlane, with its mosaics and its world famous dome shaped melon blue. The conqueror Tamerlane is at rest here, under a huge slab of jade that is more than likely the jade stone the largest in the world.

Situated Kyrgyzstan, Issyk Kul, which means "hot lake" is the second highest navigable lake in the world, and a popular place for those who like Central Asia Travel. The winds, the climate, and probably a kind of thermal activity, this lake never freezes, even in the cold of winter. Surrounded by snowy mountains of Tien Shan, the beautiful, sparkling blue lake has resorts and hotels located on the North side, and sandy beaches for pleasure of all.
