Vintage Lamps – Made in America
The Antique and Vintage Table Lamp Co are well known for their variety of table lamps antique and vintage, with decorative lighting of England, France, China and Japan. Included in their range are examples of American lamps.
Currently the company has made examples in the States early 1930's, period, with glass lamps made by the company consolidated glass. This famous American glass maker was located in Pennsylvania, with Reuben Haley as a leading designer. The art glass produced through this period is of exceptional quality and has been greatly inspired by the French company of Rene Lalique.
Company has been greatly reduced by the Great Depression and was closed from 1932 to 1936. Consolidated continued to produce art glass very cutting through the 1940s and 50s, but finally closed due to a factory fire in 1963.
Also indicated in their online catalog, is a major U.S. studio, terracotta lamp with a monochrome glaze stop furnaces mega sunny yellow, this lamp has been U.S. launched by the hand of a potter's studio in 1920 – 1930 period. The lamp has been designed to follow the shape of the old classic "Yen Yen produced by manufacturers in the form of china 18th century. This studio piece was produced in a lamp and carefully supported for the past 80 years, fully renovated and ready to shed the light is again in a new interior.
A great American art studio, shot, table lamp shaped Chinese porcelain. The light produced in the period 1920-1930 in Typical curves rather Art Deco. Although the product of the Art Deco, the line follows the classic form of China "Yen Yen shaped porcelain top 18th century (particularly associated with the Kangxi period), "a long-necked vase baluster style passing a mouth trumpet" shaped.
