1. Dzong Wangdue – Wangdue Dzong Phodrang was founded by Lama Zhabdrung in 1638. It is situated atop a high ridge between the Punakha Chhu and Dang Chhu. It is about two hours drive from Trongsa in Bumthang. It is situated at an altitude of 2600m – 4000m. This fascinating valley is the religious, considered the most sacred in Bhutan Valley and home to some of the oldest Buddhist temples and monasteries. Many religious masters have meditated in this valley and even for the valley of Bhutan is the place of pilgrimage. The valley is also famous for its production of honey, cheese, apples and Yatra – fabrics wool, which has multiple uses.

1. Jambay Lhakhang – It is one of the most sacred and oldest temple in Bhutan, built the 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo (Tibetan King 33rd) to submit the evil spirits in the Himalayan region. This is also a place the most important festival – Jambay Drup Lhakhang.

In Trashigang
Trashigang is located at an altitude of 1151m above the sea level is the largest district in Bhutan and it is at the top above the river Gamri Chhu. It was once the center of a busy trade with Tibet before the Chinese occupation. Today that the junction of the east-west road linking it to Samdrupjongkhar then the Indian State of Assam. In Trashiyangtse
The valley is approximately 2 hours drive from Trashigang town. It is situated at an altitude of 1830m above seal level and is also home to the black-necked crane in particular Bumdeling. This valley is the most eastern Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh border in India. This region is known for its specialty in the manufacture of various types of wooden utensils.

1. Chorten Kora – It was built by Lama Ngwang Loday in 1740 and was designed similar Boudhanath Stupa in Nepal.
