How to choose a dentist

Hello! My name is Dr. Sunita Singh and I want to congratulate you for taking the step to learn how you and others can have a whiter, brighter, smile more attractive and more confident with painless and anxiety free dental care.

I created this guide to educate people like you who want to improve their smiles, prevent cavities, dentures, or need, you want to do without pain, and do not know what questions to ask or what are the procedures available to them. You may not know that progress in technology (and a dentist who remains day in his training), you can transform any smile a smile a few 5 star short visits. The greatest thing about all this is this can be done is a painless, the environment, without fear, where you do not feel a little pain and can enjoy the experience!

Nothing you did and I feel more vulnerable than walking into a place to buy something without knowing what to ask. Maybe you brought your car to get an oil change, not wanting anything, and your mechanic told you 10 things that others are having problems with your car. It can be tell you the truth, but the problem is that you have no way of knowing with certainty.

The same thing happens when you go buy a new one car. The size of a car salesman for you to see how much you know, because they know they will negotiate a price with you shortly. If you are informed and know what you speak, you'll be able to buy the same car for much less than a person who has not the slightest idea.

All dentists are not the same

It is important to know what procedures you want to have done, and what your options are. Betsy White is one of my patients who came in wanting to six facets. That would cost him more than $ 7,000, but all she needed was to have whitened his teeth to get the same results. This saved thousands of dollars. I hope this guide can do the same for you!

Q: How can dental pain-free?
A: painful injection needle, the shrill sound of dental drills and get you an anesthetic that can not eat or speak normally may not want anyone to go to the dentist. But with recent advances in technology, you no longer have to fear or to avoid your next dental visit.

The end of the dental drill

Perhaps one of the most formidable all time is the dental drill. Just the sound of it can make you shudder. But a new technology called abrasion of the air may one day eliminate exercises forever.
Air abrasion work on the teeth a bit like a sandblaster work on a building. Tiny particles of aluminum oxide are blown in a jet of water to remove debris, broken and ruined enamel of cavities. This system is almost painless and eliminates the need for photos numbness. The air abrasion system is more accurate than traditional exercises, which allows the dentist to save more of the enamel healthy surrounding the cavity. However, this only works when you treat a cavity while it is still low, it does not work for large cavities.

Q: What if I am still afraid?
A: It is normal to be afraid. We have many patients who were frightened when they came to our office for the first time. They let a lot better, and now like to come in every 3-6 months. The best example is my mother. She would not even her teeth cleaned without nitrous oxide (nitrogen oxide). She was petrified of the dentist, but no more.
On your first visit I told him that this first visit, we will just watch and talk about what procedures are required. The patient and dentist are a team, and we will never make you feel like being dictated or put pressure on you. I hate when that happens to me, and never will you.

The patient feels in control at all times
One of the most important aspects in creating a pleasant experience without pain is to choose a dentist who really cares and is very competent in using the latest technology without pain, because all dentists. My main goal is for my patients to have a comfortable experience and pleasant.

What I always say when I do any type of procedure for patients to simply raise their left hand if they feel any type of pain or discomfort, and I can not give more anesthesia. It is important for them to know they have control. If they want me to stop at any time or they need a break, I ask them to raise the left hand. I even provide a device that makes noise to alert me to stop if wish.

What is important is that you feel in control of what happens, and you know that if you feel pain I will not continue. The most important thing is to make you understand that we're in this together to get you the best possible results, the most convenient way painless.
Misconception: A dentist who offers the lowest price is the dentist, you should choose.

This may be true sometimes but not always. Here are some points to consider when examining the costs.

The price you are offered may not be for the services you want performed.
Before you select a practice, decide what you want to accomplish. If a dentist charges far less than other dentists, it may indicate that or she goes through procedures faster, less time with each patient. This may not be good, because the focus is not on quality. In addition, the price is usually a sign of quality. More effective tooth may cost more. Better trained dentists who want to give you more time and quality of service more expensive. Reliability of services and the cost of most products. Do not let price alone be the determining factor when choosing a dentist.

The price See your advertising may not be the price to pay

Many people have learned that the low prices they have seen advertised is not the amount they charged. You may have been the victim of a false or misleading advertising. You probably learned the hard way that certain practices offer a low price, and then force you to pay a lot more once they you in the office. Some of them may not even intend to do, but happens.

Other practices, like mine, work hard to earn your trust and respect.
My practice is devoted to education public. The only way you can make an informed decision is to have all the facts you need. If you're thinking about having their teeth examined, bleached, or are looking for other dental procedures, let me make three recommendations.
Recommendation No. 1: Make a commitment to get your teeth and gums examined every 6 months
.
The longer you wait, the worse and more expensive treatment will be. regular reviews to extend the life of your teeth and help maintain their appearance and usability.

In addition, 4 of 5 people suffer from the worst silent killer of teeth – periodontitis, gum disease aka, and many do not even know. If your gums bleed when you brush or eat hard foods, if you have bad breath, pain or sores in the mouth, if Your gums are pulled back, make your teeth appear longer, or if you see pus between the gums and teeth, you should get it now!

Recommendation No. 2: Ask questions
The way to learn a practice is to ask specific questions and listen carefully to the answers. Here are some questions I suggest you ask the question:
• Ask if they have testimonials from current patients who are satisfied and enjoy their experience with their dentist. If you are looking to have an aesthetic or cosmetic work done, ask to see before and after photos of actual patients of the office.
• Ask if they offer guarantees or warranties. If you buy a washer or dryer, they come with a warranty replacement if fails in a certain period of time. In our office, each procedure is guaranteed, if a filling or crown falls, we will replace it free of charge.
• Ask what the dentist does to keep up and keep his skills up to date, especially if you are looking to have a specialized procedure done. There are many dentists out there, and some are better than others at different procedures. You want to make sure the dentist you choose for your procedure is very experienced with it.

In asking these questions and spending the small amount of time needed to make a The smart choice for a dentist to help you create a relationship between the dentist-patient relationship based on trust and mutual respect.
Recommendation 3: Once you're convinced that you work with an honest, competent professional, establish an appointment

By following these recommendations, you gain all the information you need to make an informed and intelligent decision. If you have other questions to find a dentist or dental treatment, please mail me at info@dentalcosmeticclinic.com .
