Riding Camp on the West Coast? HELP!?
Okay, so I’m so frusterated!
I have always wanted to go to summer camp. But not a normal summer camp, a completely horse filled summer camp. I was wondering if any of you knew of any one, and could help me out.
Heres some criteria:
Must be on the west coast
Must be residental (overnight)
Must involve jumping or eventing
But here are the most important things. I have looked everywhere, and have seen the traditional kids summer camp, pottery, canoeing, rock climbing, and oh…SOME riding. I’m not looking for that. I want the raw, 24/7 riding camp. All about horses….and it CANNOT be a beginner camp. I want a more intermediate, eventing/ show jumping camp that will really improve your riding.
Me as a Rider:
I have been riding for 5 years, competing in Eventing for 2. have jumped 3’6″, and competed novice.

i did that one every year when I was younger (I have my own child going to summer camp now)
I learned how to do vaulting there and they have archery awesome swimming boating and crafts but it is more of a western atmosphere (outside of seattle a ferry ride away)
all the hunter jumper camps in my state are day only here are the only overnights I could find in the country
