As a culture, we have lost the use of this innate inner compass.

We each have our own personal portal to peace. The treasure hunt begins with an inner feeling triggered by external circumstances. This is a timeless set of internal guidelines by external cues. For millennia, ancient civilizations and indigenous peoples have played this sport for fun and good fortune.

Do not Shrug off that Weird Feeling!

Have you ever felt a rush of recognition wash over you? Do new people or places seems vaguely familiar? Did you ever feel that you have been in this exact situation before?

This strange feeling of connection with the places and people is a clue, a flag, a signal. This feeling of familiarity brands access to a gold mine of personal clarity and strength.

"It's deja vu all over again!"

Yogi Bera famous blast reminds us of the repetitive nature of phenomenon. The French phrase "déjà vu" means literally "already seen" or "already seen". How? When? Where? These questions invoke the plot that gives us to play the gambit of a lifetime of travel home.

If approached as such, feeling of familiarity may be a chance for the opening or opportunity. This sensitivity can be a portal to your intuition and inner wisdom which, in turn, can help you make the right decisions in life to bring you back to safety and you sound!

How does the game?

Act on the feeling of familiarity, as you get out of your day. Instead of dismissing the fog sense of prescience, follow the example of these reflections recognition. Like a treasure hunt, a clue leads to another until you find the prices at the end of your center's internal peace. Take my recent trip to China, for example.

In Hong Kong Homecoming

One day, "out of the blue" owner of a metaphysical bookstore in Hong Kong e-mails that I come to China to present my workshops in her shop after she likes what she reads on my site. Curiously, his name and his store does not seem as strange that in his country. My intuition screams "Yes! Go. You know him or. "My rational mind Samoan" No! " to the concept of An expensive 19-hour plane ride Halfway around the world based on a "hunch." I can not pin down the connection I feel to his or Hong Kong. But same magnetism because groundwater has led me to many successful adventures, buy my ticket for the Far Out, I mean, the Far East.

Mystery in the Mist

Hong Kong is a funky blend of ultra-modern glass and steel and mud brick and stone traditional. Featured and disappearing in the mist swirling around the legendary South China Sea, strangely familiar Chinese junks cruise along the elegant ships. Impressions that come and go like ships in the fog, I see the details of the layout within a sampan, although I never laid eyes on one of these boats before traditional Chinese!

Winding my way through the narrow streets crowded with stalls selling everything from jade silk elephant tusks exotic birds in gilded cages, I feel I have walked these streets paved long ago. I feel some loss of connection with the goods to be weird pawned so loudly. At dawn, hundreds of people fill the pocket parks with beauty graceful Tai Chi Chinese Sword Dance. Goosebumps run up my arm lets me know that I, too, practiced these arts in some other time.

fish tanks in the open air in front of every restaurant promises fresh, delicious pieces of eel, squid and octopus. The smell of ricochet Bird's nest soup tasty thanks to my bank, the sensory memory. Surprisingly, it does not seem that unusual to eat the head, feet, ears, nose and testicles of a rooster, pig, dog, pigeon, snake, turtle, fish and insects, like people enjoy in this country that is not really like strangers I thought.

I rode my way between the sacred stone temples dwarfed by the skyscrapers of clouds kiss. Stroll through the eternal beauty and harmonious sanctuary gardens, I see flickering images of myself cutting delicate and elegant bonsai trees behind the pond and Co. turtles adorned with waterfalls and arched bridges.

The Gang's All Here!

At dawn one day, my odyssey guides sensory recall me in a train bound for a remote Buddhist temple in the countryside far. I'm inexplicably compelled to visit this isolated site by the same mystical resonance I feel with other aspects of Chinese culture.

The only way to achieve this mountain hotel is up a steep path that enters in a dense forest of bamboo bursting crunching, brightly colored tropical birds. With a thick blanket of low clouds, I meet dozens of size human, gilded statues of Buddha, located a few feet on the bottom track.

Each Buddha strikes a unique pose some sitting in the traditional position, legs crossed, while others laugh out loud, or wrap their arms warmly around the shoulders of another monk. The Buddhas are young and old, men and women, Asian and Negro. Many figures are dancing and playing. A few ride an animal like a tiger, turtle, elephant, bear or dragon. Baby Buddha roost on the knees and shoulders of a large Jolly fellow. Some monks are richly dressed, while others just make a donation campaign. Wild!

Surprised I realize that I am not using my energy to climb. A fierce and threatening force is the slippery catapult me 500 measures the dew-soaked hill! At first, I zoom past each statue. Then, the irresistible attraction of familiarity pulls me to sit and pray in front of each FIG. I think I personally know each Buddha as a close friend or a teacher! I flash vivid scenes of me living quietly as a monk in the lives of others.

Rendezvous with Destiny

Yes, now I understand my attraction to these animated icons. Each Buddha radiates a vibration unique energy or a sentiment. Each Buddha represents a different mood or aspect of God. As I reach out to touch each statue, I am animated by a common hardware-electric vibration of this energy include single or Buddha mind. The tingling sensation ripples through my body in orgasmic waves. As I connect with each successive Buddha, I dissolve deeper in the oneness of Being and enter in a profound peace.

In each statue I received a personal message, transmitted by touch and vibration. The disclosure of each Buddha is the same! They all for inviting me to choose to join them in their mounted state exalted. They tell me the serenity, freedom and lightness of letting go of attachment to worldly affairs. The Buddhas tell me they know I read about Chinese Mountain Men in my youth and who have a permanent aspiration to follow in their footsteps. They are right on the button, I mean, Buddha! The state of bliss, they embody is my desire for life.

The long tradition of the Mountain Men, is that when a person has fully experienced having a family, fame and world affairs, he or she chooses to leave their town and the mountains to reach empty Spirit in symbiosis with nature and God. The murmur Buddhas for me, "You know in your heart, it is time for you get ready to get out of your adventure in the spiritual world of the Mountain Men. "Yes, I'm shaken, scared and excited by their joint invitation! As I write these lines, I feel the blessing and the attractiveness of the Buddhas.
