Transferware Tableware – Amazing Porcelain Design Accents

Transferware ceramic pottery is a beautiful addition to any tableware collection and an extremely popular collector’s item. Can I paint a glazed porcelain figurine?

We found a cute ceramic figurine that suits our taste as a wedding souvenir. Unfortunately, it is made of white porcelain with blue color as the accent. I would like to know if I can paint the whole item in metallic gold to match our motiff. Will that be possible? If so what would be the best paint to use and what special preparations should be made? Your tips will be highly appreciated.

Right now spray paint is your best option… It will last for the wedding, but it wont last forever. Use a metalic spray paint, then put an acrilyic clear spray coat over that.
