But have you finished working for Tom Nook? If you haven’t you cannot purchase anything yet.
Try changing the date to the next day until you get your axe, then change it back to the right date. (this doesn’t get you in trouble with Mr. Resetti)
By the way, did you know that if you change the date to January 1 (any year) and then check your mail you get 10,000 bells? I do it like all the time LOL!
