second floor clothes washer is vibrating so much that it loosens drywall tape, how do i fix this?
basically the washer vibration is so bad that the drywall is affected and the light bulbs in the garage below have to be replaced once a month due to the vibration. the washer isn’t shaking just vibrating. how can i reduce this significantly?
First make sure is is level. If it isn’t, almost all new washers have feet on the corners that are adjustable. Leveling it will significantly reduce the amount of vibration during the spin cycle! If it isn’t level, no amount of trying to adjust the clothes inside will help.
Also try and make sure your loads aren’t too big for the size of washer.
