Another translation of the verse (57:20):

Know ye (all), that the life of this world is but play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting and multiplying, (in rivalry) among you, riches and children. Here is a similarity: how rain and vegetation that is pleasing (the heart) Farmers, then it fades, you see the yellow, then it becomes dry and crumbles. but in the afterlife to severe punishment (for fans of bad). and forgiveness from Allah and (his) good pleasure (for the followers of Allah). and what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception?

When you play online you use up a bit but for the exact number, I'd say around 1.5 to 2.0 mb speed of your Internet So if you have more than you should be fine, if you use less than the smallest of the last speed that you have to play.
