Scour the reef wrecks at the top of the tower 65 feet Lookout, as the master of destructive mid-1800 did.
Mel Fisher Maritime Museum
In 1985, the shipwreck hunter Mel Fisher and his team of underwater recovery was found the wreck of the Santa Margarita and the Nuestra Senora de Atocha, which is part of the treasure fleet support 28-galleon that sank 50 miles off the Florida Keys for hurricane. The recovered treasure included gold, silver and emeralds, some of the wealth stolen from Peru, Colombia and Mexico. The vast treasure exhibited in the museum is equally astonishing that the incredible story behind the discovery of the wreckage.
Another fascinating wrecks on the screen is the British slave ship Henrietta Marie, a British ship that transported slaves to the Caribbean from Africa. It was discovered during the search of the treasure galleons loaded. GP
