What are your ressources of inner power and determination ? How do you get it ?
Often in life, we meet outside obstacles, many however come from within, when we give up on things we could do. I at least have felt this often and seen many examples of this behaviour.
Some people may be born with more inner determination, as usual the first years are decisive in turning someone into an achiever or not. Yet, as with all things, power and determination can also be acquired and lost, and I’ve also observed this on me and others.
How do you personnaly boost your power and determination, the one of your subordinates, friends, children, spouse whatever ?
For me it is a strong belief that there is always some way around an obstacle: over, under, around, breaking it down, whatever. I’m not sure where that belief came from–perhaps I never lost that sense of industry most children have (ever see a child try to learn something new? they try again and again). Admittedly, sometimes the way around an obstacle is to change the goal, e.g., if involved with someone who does not like me, I do not try to get him or her to like me–I find others who do and choose to hang with them.
