Is white and black have a realistic shadow?

For example, take red -> This can be alleviated by mixing white and it would be pink, but still a shade of red it can be darkened to black, then it will be dark red but may still be considered a shade of red. Same thing with the blue: light blue (sky blue / baby blue / whatever you want to call it) and blue (dark blue or navy, etc.) but it still a shade of blue. Ditto for the yellow, green, purple, orange, and almost every color. But what about white? And black? Would you say that the gray color is their shadow? I once saw on a paint called "Porcelain White" and "White Cloud", I can not quite picture how these colors will look like.

When it comes to shades of white paint. Titanium white is a much brighter white than say Chinese white. Black also shades depending what colors you use to mix. A red-based black looks a lot diff. a blue or black, is that striaght way out of the tube. When it comes to color theory and pure light, there are no shades of white and black since then to get something like an "eggshell" you must add the slightest hint of yellow.
